I was born and raised in North Carolina and lived in Lousiville, Kentucky, then Erie, PA. I am a librarian and love information. I am an African American woman and have many family members dealing with many chronic illnesses, diabetes, cancer, obesity, etc. I want to post this information in the hopes that I can help women of color along life’s journey. Information can save our lives if we have access to it. Please become an informed consumer of healthcare information. You have the right to take care of your body. But you also need to be informed in order to make decisions that affect your body. That’s what the information that I pass along to you is aimed to do.
